The Flynns are a joyously dysfunctional family you will love

Lost Lambs was an absurdly kooky novel that had me in stitches loving each and every character in the book. Fresh and delightful, I couldn't put it down and dragged out the reading as long as I could as I hated to finish.

The Flynn family is as dysfunctional as it gets. Bud and Catherine have a marriage that has gone off the rails with each living their own life without regard for the other. An open relationship with a daft, funny twist. Not great role models for their three girls who each struggle through their teens years. Abigail is 'the pretty one' and about to finish school. She finds herself drawn to the older, strong silent type, War Crime Wes, which puts her in an unenviable position. Louise, the middle child, looks as if she is being groomed online by a terrorist, her only friend. Harper, my favour daughter, is whip smart and easily notices odd things about town others turn a blind eye to. This family, and the hilarious cast of characters who support them, get into some mad situations. Wholly crazy but fully enjoyable. I felt fully invested in the direction of travel and wanted the very best for them all. But can such an unconventional messed up family navigate the tricky world and survive intact? It's a joy to find out in Lost Lambs.
